Toughened Glass
is needed where there is a risk of serious injury from falling into or breaking of glass. It is 5 times stronger than standard glass and when it breaks it shatters into tiny pieces.
It is manufactured by heating up flat glass to a temperature of around 700° C and then blowing air on to its surface, quenching it down swiftly and uniformly. It can be divided into two types depending on the degree of heat treatment; Heat- Strengthened Glass or Tempered Glass.
We manufacture 4mm to 19mm thick flat & curved Toughened Glasses confirming to ISI:2553 Standards for Automobile, Railways,
State Road Corporations, Commercial buildings and other applications.
Our products are duly tested and approved by CIRT, ARAI- Pune.
